Background:<\/strong><\/p>\n

In the coming years, there will likely be\u00a0<\/span>an increase in demand for\u00a0<\/span>Public\u00a0<\/span><\/b>Transport Systems\u00a0<\/span><\/b>(PTS), requiring a rise\u00a0<\/span>in system efficiency. Users are less\u00a0<\/span>inclined to use PTS due to a lack of a\u00a0<\/span>sophisticated and integrated\u00a0<\/span>Passenger Information System\u00a0<\/span><\/b>(PIS).<\/span><\/p>\n

To improve the level of service\u00a0<\/span>provided to travelers, various\u00a0<\/span>technologies can be used to deliver\u00a0<\/span>accurate information in real-time.<\/span><\/p>\n

Challenge:<\/strong><\/p>\n

The aim of the challenge is the\u00a0<\/span>application of different technologies\u00a0<\/span>to gather\u00a0<\/span>real time\u00a0<\/span><\/b>information in order\u00a0<\/span>to improve the quality of PTS. To\u00a0<\/span>accelerate the transition, it is\u00a0<\/span>necessary to use different Intelligent\u00a0<\/span>Transport System (ITS).<\/span>\u200b<\/p>\n
