However, the current objective is to establish an extensive network of charging stations to address the so-called range anxiety.<\/p>\n<p>This term refers to the fear experienced by drivers of not being able to recharge their vehicles during a journey, which is a significant obstacle to switching to electric models.<\/p>\n<p>To achieve sustainable mobility, it is crucial to ensure public accessibility to a charging infrastructure, including the integration of ultra-fast charging stations to provide rapid and convenient options for electric vehicle owners.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Challenge:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The aim of the challenge is the creation of a hub of ultra-fast charging that simultaneously offers the most advanced charging solutions and an ecosystem of services accompanying the charging process to improve the experience.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key objectives:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Providing a user-friendly interface, comfortable waiting areas, and access to amenities that make the charging process enjoyable and convenient.<\/li>\n<li>The hub should be conceived as a modular structure to increase adaptability to as many areas as possibile<\/li>\n<li>Implementation of various power capacities and integrated systems for renewable energy generation and storage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/didattica.polito.it\/pls\/portal30\/gap.pkg_guide.viewGap?p_cod_ins=01HRWNE&amp;p_a_acc=2024&amp;p_header=S&amp;p_lang=IT&amp;multi=N\">Clik here for the syllabus!<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Download the pdf to discover if your degree programme recognizes you curricular or extra curricular credits for this challenge.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Background: The adoption of electric and hybrid vehicles has increased thanks to various incentives.
